Hi,
this is Daytoner and this is my first tutorial about sketch concepting.
It's a look behind the scenes and shows my workflow in detail. The result is this portrait of a man-machine-hybrid in an urban setting. I show how I get to a quick sketch model in Zbrush, how I render it out and how I usually finalize my robot concepts in Photoshop.
In 2 ½ hours you can see everything I do, from zero to the final concept-image. The original length of my session was 4 ½ hours, so the concept art you see can be done in around 4 hours with a bit of training.
What you get
2 versions of the tutorial (mp4 and wmv) and the final concept art image for reference.
Duration of the tutorial:
2:30hrs (full voice over)
Programs used:
ZBrush 4R4, Keyshot 6.2, Photoshop CS6
Skillset needed for each program:
ZBrush - Medium Skills
Keyshot - Basic Skills
Photoshop - Good Skills
