Daytoner (short DTNR) is the concept art project of Daniel Hahn. As a Concept Artist he is working for the game and movie industry. Currently he lives in Los Angeles. Daniel came here a while ago and loves the creative vibe of the city. He started obsessive sketching when he was around 15 years old, doing graffiti in his hometown.
The main focus of his work are robots. Robots or human-machine-hybrids combine two worlds - the expressions of a character/person combined with surfaces and shapes to design. His robots are the perfect combination of his backround in Car Design and his passion for developing characters.
Daniels technique is pretty chaotic. Some parts are 3D-models, some parts are digitally painted and some are bashed photographs. The tools used are Zbrush, Photoshop, Keyshot and Substance Painter.
